Did you know...
..that this site is almost a year old? Yes, A Message from Paradise was my Christmas project for last year, and it sortof served it's purpose. It was written as a test site for ASP.NET 3.5...and it worked! The other site, the content matter, didn't turn out as well.

Yes, Burnout Paradise is a great game - I'm not going to deny that. It takes the franchise forward while still being a Burnout game, and Criterion's support of the game via DLC is certainly something we should all be happy about. However, I just prefer the old fashioned Burnout. I never got lost racing in Burnout Revenge, and that's exactly how I like it.

So, after the first year of A Message From Paradise, I have no idea what 2009 holds for the site. Stay tuned - something crazy might just happen! Oh, and Merry Christmas!!

It's been a while...
Well, it's been a while since we last spoke, two and a half months in fact. So, what's been going on eh? Well not too much Burnout related certainly! I do at some point, however, need to get back into Burnout Paradise. There are still events to complete and achievements to unlock, and with the downloadable content coming soon, there is plenty to keep the Paradise player occupied. That is unless they can't stop playing GTA IV...

Thank you Burnout Paradise - I've finally done it!
Well, it's been a long time in coming, but on Saturday I finally did it - I broke through the 10,000 gamerscore barrier! I know, I've had the console for almost two years therefore I should have done it sooner, but what can I say; I'm a noob, I'm sorry.

The achievement that took me over the line? 'Got your A Class License' (or 'Flying Colors' as it's friends call it). I only needed 17GS, but I'm never one to say no to a 50GS achievement!

Don't forget that it is Sunday, so that means that mine and The Capester's review on The Capester.co.uk podcast is now online. Listen or download over at RSD | Online now!
